Obituary of Thomas Huchenski

Thomas Huchenski, 68, of Vandling passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore after an illness.  He is survived by his wife of more than 31 years, Beverly (Kennedy) Huchenski.

Born April 18, 1949 in Peckville, he was the son of the late Bernard and Ann (Russell) Huchenski.

He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He is also survived by two step-children:  Brian Zintel and his wife Donna of Waymart and Doug Zintel of Lake Ariel; two step-grandchildren:  Brian and Trisha Zintel; three brothers:  Robert Huchenski of Finch Hill, Gene Huchenski and his wife Doreen of Scott Twp, and Don Huchenski and his wife Suzie of Archbald; three sisters:  Elaine Christman of Boyton Beach, FL, Caroline Coleman and her husband Dave of Boyton Beach, FL, and Jacqueline Selby and her husband Steve of Westport, CT; nieces and nephews:  Claire, Ethan, Scott, and Chris.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers:  Bernard, Mike, and Jack.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tom’s memory to Hospice of the Sacred Heart Memorial Fund 600 Baltimore Dr, Wilkes Barre, PA 18702.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. in Jenkins – Howell Funeral Home, Inc. 269 Belmont St. Waymart, PA 18472.  www.JenkinsHowellFuneralHome.com

Interment will be private in The Waymart Cemetery at Canaan Corners.
