Obituary of Justin Kellachow
Justin Kellachow, 38, of South Canaan passed away unexpectedly after an illness on Thursday evening, August 2, 2018 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. His beloved wife, Diane M. Enslin Kellachow survives him. They were married on July 7, 2001.
Born August 26, 1979 in Carbondale he was the son of Tanya Miller and her husband Douglas of Honesdale, and Phillip Contorno and his wife Debbie of Hammond, Louisiana.
Justin graduated from Wayne Highlands School District. He loved cars and was an avid sportscar enthusiast. Justin was a gifted mechanic and could fix anything. He loved riding snowmobiles, ATV's, and anything else with wheels. RC cars and racing them were among his favorite hobbies. He enjoyed buying RC cars to race with his children. Justin was always first to help anyone in need. He lived his life caring about others. Above all, he was an amazing son, brother, husband, nephew, and father. Justin enjoyed spending quality time with his wife and children who were the greatest joys of his life. He was loved so much, by so many and will never be forgotten.
He is also survived by his son, Jayden; and daughter, Raelyn, both at home; his sister, Hope Flederbach and her husband Richard of Honesdale; his brother, Stephen Miller of Honesdale; sister Shannon Sinagra of Hammond, LA; brothers Phillip “PJ” Contorno of Hammond, LA; Kevin Corey Contorno and Kyle Corey of North Carolina; maternal grandparents, Mary and Vladimer “Lum” Kellachow of Waymart; aunt, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
Justin was also preceded in death by his uncle, Vladimer Kellachow, Jr.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Cottage Hose Ambulance and Wayne Memorial Hospital Emergency Department for all of their efforts and compassion.
Friends and family may visit on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Jenkins-Howell Funeral Home, Inc. 269 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA 18472. Edward Howell, Funeral Director.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 10:00 AM in The Waymart Church, 342 Honesdale Road, Waymart, PA 18472 with Pastor Sal Maiorana officiating. All attending are asked to go directly to the church.
