Obituary of Frank Adams
Frank Arthur Adams, 77, of Waymart passed away at home on Thursday, August 23, 2018 after an illness.
Born September 27, 1940 in White’s Crossing, he was the son of the late Robert and Lelia (Arthur) Adams.
For many years, Frank worked in a steel factory in Scranton. He enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman. Frank especially enjoyed stocking local rivers with the Fish Commission. He loved to teach others how to fish, and was always eager to take others with him. Frank was always with his favorite companion, his dog, Teddy Bear. Frank will be greatly missed.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Amy Adams of Simpson; granddaughter, Kacie Krempasky; two brothers, Robert Adams of White’s Crossing, and Donald Adams and his wife Arlene of Binghamton, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Hubal; and a nephew, Robert Hubal.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM in the Waymart Presbyterian Church, 200 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA 18472 with Pastor Wendy D’Agostino officiating. All attending are asked to go directly to the church.
Interment will be on Monday in The Waymart Cemetery at Canaan Corners.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Frank’s memory to the Waymart Presbyterian Church, PO Box 323, Waymart, PA 18472.
