Dear Rosie and family,
My sincere condolences. I always loved your Mom. She was always so good to me. I still have a lighthouse she gave me on one of my last visits back to Honesdale while she was still in her apartment. She also gave me some ceramics that my Mom made and gave her. I look at these pieces with fond memories of her. At least she's with her Danny now. I don't think she ever got over that loss. And she's with her Ruben. Good man.
My husband and I are planning on coming back to Honesdale in August and had on my "To Visit" list, your Mom. I think the last time we saw her was while she was in Wayne Woodlands in 2015. I wish I could have visited with her again. I continued to write to her though. I know she enjoyed getting letters from me. Although the last several years she didn't write back, I continued to write. I was pretty sure she was getting to a point where she couldn't write anymore.
