Phil was a great person and Masonic Brother. He always had a smile on his face and a good word for everyone he knew. May you rest in peace my brother, you are in the hands of the Great Architect of Heaven. Peace be with you till we meet again.

My heart felt condolences to Mark, Sheryl, Gerald, Anita, Helen and their families. My heart sank when i read that Phil had passed. As much as I know he is in a better place and enjoying some time with Sally, I also know how much he will be missed here. I will always cherish the memories I had with Phil. The times at holiday dinners, talking about books we had both read. But most of all the time i spent with Phil and Grandma Rodenburg when she was ill. It was then that i got to know Phil the most.I hope someone reserved a Club Cadet and some grass to mow for you. I will miss driving past and seeing you mowing the lawn and stopping in to say hello in my travels. The poem the Dash explains your life well. It was not the date you were born, or the date that you passed that mean the most. It was the dash in between. Your dash was so well spent, so full of love, understanding and beautiful memories for all. Rest in Peace, and know my thoughts of you will always be pleasant ones.

Phil was an amazing man! A second father to me. Full of humor , and a heart of gold. He would do anything for anybody. He always made me laugh. I will miss his laugh and his smile. :)
