Maher Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. Marquita was a friend of my mother’s from the DA office and I always enjoyed being in her company; She had such a great spirit, wonderful smile and beyond a beautiful soul. ‘Quita will definitely be missed.

I will be unable to come to the service for I am in FL and not coming home till NOV but my heartfelt condolences to the family. Marquita and I talked at length about her cancer and issues with it. I’m also class of 83. My husband passed from lung cancer and I have my own health issues and some of same medications. She was always so positive and inspiring. I would not wish this stupid disease on my worse enemy and I am so sorry you have to go through this. Gosh she loved her family so much! Again my prayers and condolences. I have so many fond memories of our childhood and sleepovers

Marquita was my rock and my best friend when I worked for Ray Hamill. Many walks and lunches in the park. She got me through one or the hardest times of my life. She was my matron of honor. A beautiful soul who will be missed. I love you Marquita.
