I’m so sorry about loosing one of our classmates. ( class of 1986) My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Julie and I still were friend! I use to do her hair when she colored it. I would see her in passing and we always would catch up and share how we were doing. Life sure is funny and this really tells me to live every day as if it was my last, cause you really never know! She will be missed and I’m deeply sorry for you loss! XOX

Julie was my "sister",she always opened their home to me and my family when we visited the farm after my parents passed, and when I was leaving to go back to NY Julie always told me any time I wanted to pop in she would have "my" room ready for me. As busy as Julie was she would have my grandchildren down to the farm for mini vacations and treated them as her own.Through the years, I always enjoyed helping her at the stand, especially in the Fall during Corn Maze time, it was a time for us to hang out and catch up. Julie found time to care for my parents in their later years until their time of passing, for which I will always be grateful. She was a good wife, a proud Mom, and she adored all of her grandchildren. In one of our last conversations she was holding Willow and telling me how absolutely gorgeous and precious Abigail was and could not wait to hold her again! I will truly miss her- my "sister", my friend.
My condolences to the family,
Mary (Yatsonsky) Amidon

Julie was an awesome person, and an amazing friend all through school.. from Kindergarten to graduation. I took my grandchildren and daughter to her ice cream shop last summer and the summer before, and her and I talked and reminisced. I'm truly heartbroken, but I know Julie was strong in her faith and family, and she is at peace and watching over all of you. My love and prayers.. Mary Stepper Malahosky
