Our heart felt condolences to the Hartman family, we’ve been down this road many times before! Deb will always be part of our family and our community, she will always be a bright star in the skies above! We’re sorry we couldn’t go to the service. Bess(Dutch),Cindy, Buddy, Benny, and Robin, I wish you the best! We missed your Dad’s service, I told Deb I would be there and I wasn’t! I hope we will meet after the problem that faces all of us at this moment! Skip Gifford

I met Debbie when we were 15 years old and started out as relish girls at the Sterling Inn in South Sterling PA. After work on the weekend all of the waitresses would end up at Debbie's house sometimes and have a campfire. I remember her sisters, Sometimes we would go square dancing in Newfoundland or go to the theatre nearby. Debbie was a sweet person who I never will forget. Sorry to all of you. Wish we kept in touch since we lived only 5 miles from each other when I am in Madisonville and her in Hollisterville. RIP

Debi came into my life when her daughter Cindi met my son Evan and they decided to share life together. Both of us were so proud to be grandmothers to their children Gus and Gaia. Debi was a beautiful person and as kind and loving as anyone on this earth could be. When my husband passed away two and a half years ago, she and Mark came up to his service at Olivet Baptist Church in Hamden, Ct. and I was grateful for their support. It truly pains me that I cannot be there in Pa. to honor her, but being ten years older, and at high risk I must stay in my residence because of the coronovirus . But my love and spirit is with her and the whole family. It is such a great loss to all who knew her.. I know if we lived in the same state we would have been great grandmother- friends. I admired her nurturing ways, her creative talents, her humor, her deep faith and her warm sweet smile.
Lately, I'v had to say goodbye to many family and friends but I feel this goodbye was so fast and way too soon for us to comprehend.. But I will forget you not and along with Cindi, Evan, Gus and Gaia we will keep your memory alive always.
Barbara Mulligan.

I only met Debi once but that one time was amazing. She treated me as family immediately. My sympathy to her entire family. Beth Arnett (housemate of Kay Barrett)

Debi was such an inspiration to me as I was growing up in the church we both attended. She helped me through some tough times when I was in my 20’s. She always told me to trust in the Lord and he will lead me in the right direction. She was right. I’m so thankful I knew her. She was a great person. Love and prayers to her family.

First met Debi when dating my wife Natalie. After we were married we lived in one of the Barrett’s rentals. Debi was always making meals for the BBC kids and inviting us over. Debi could make even the most insecure person feel loved. She was always doing things for others. She was truly an angel among us. She is loved and will be missed by my family. She was a great influence to us. We love you Debi. Justin, Natalie, Norah and Daisy Burns.

Ant Deb is one of the first people I came to remember, really a bright light for me in a world that seemed to become dimmer as I grew up. My foundest memories are when she gather us all up and there'd be big meals and everyone would be there and it was such a great time. When it came to her I don't think many could hold a candle to her in the kitchen. Then there's the funny voices she'd make to me as a child she really taught me to be a good person by example. She also taught me our time on this plain is finite and to love each other as much as possible

The last time I say Debi was at Church and I told her how I remembered as though it was yesterday when she stood before our homeroom at Wallenpaupack Area High School and our homeroom teacher introduced us to our new classmate. Even then she was such a nice girl with a sweet personality, that personality even got better years later when she accepted Jesus Christ as her person savior and her life was an example of a true Child of God.
