It seems that the Court street gang is passing away. The doherty boys, the stephens boys George Berris and all the other friends who played baseball in the factory lot. Dick was a good hitter and when we played at the Stourbridge field he could hit them over the right center fence into the river. His father used to bring eggs to our home and we always got a laugh from his dad. Dick was a good friend and I always remember his playing a piano like no one else. Rest in peace my friend

What a wonderful man. He is my good friend of many years, and certainly still is. If there is golf in Heaven I pray he's waiting for me on the first tee at Augusta National, though I pray his soul will live on in eternity doing God's will. Richard's loving family will miss him, but I trust their Christian faith will comfort them as Richard joins his loving daughter who preceded him to Heaven. Richard welcomed me when I moved to Pennsylvania in 1978. He was a mentor and counselor to me, and I profited from his guidance and introductions. We taught Criminal Justice courses together for students at Lackawanna College. I truly loved Richard, he was and will always be my good friend, I will miss him very much, but pray he will continue to influence my remaining earthly life with faith we will be United again as promised by our God and Creator, RIP.

Erin s and the Ballou family , your Dad was a friend a friend of my father in law Attorney John J Koehler. I played golf in some of the golf tournaments at Honesdale , he will be missed by all who knew him.
