Joanne Wiley, 72, of Hawley, passed away on Wednesday evening, September 16, 2020 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton after an illness. Born February 22, 1948 in Pottsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mabel (Herring) Wiley. Joanne is survived by a foster brother, Ronald Bellamy and his wife Edith of Jefferson Township, PA; and longtime best friend, Bonnie Sheard and her husband Ronald of Calkins, PA; her loving aide of many years, Destiny Sample; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Dixie Lee Price; foster parents, Claire and Hazel Bellamy; foster brother, Vernon Bellamy and his wife Rita; her sister, Bettie Lou Congdon; and lifelong friend, Janet DeGroat.
