My condolences to the Cavage family. Popsi was a great bus driver, neighbor and friend. 3 gave my cousin Bill Chyle and I our first jobs putting in hay. We were rewarded with hamburgers cooked by his Mom and the rewards of hard work. We enjoyed ice skating on the family pond when growing up. Popsi was always pleasant and positive and regularly met me with a smile. He will be missed

My apologies for not being able to attend in person. Trust me when I say Popsie was loved by the von Ahnen family. Hearing from my older siblings what a great human he was, and then getting to know him personally...he was a local legend. He will be sorely missed, but I think his work ethic and demeanor will continue to have a lasting legacy for many years. What a great journey and impact he’s had.

Dear Cavage Family,
Brenda and I are very saddened of the loss of Popsie and we send our deepest condolences to all of you at this difficult time. Popsie was my bus driver along with my siblings while growing up. I have found memories of him telling un-behaving children that if they wouldn't settle down that he'd have to "Dust their Feathers"! Once he spoke, never a feather needed to be dusted. Fortunately I was well behaved! He would look back in the big drivers mirror that sees all the passengers and see that all was well. Then I would catch him look over to me and smile and wink knowing that he had everything under control... Great memories of those days. It warms my heart that I had a chance to share those times on the bus along with my siblings. Other found memories was stopping by the store and having a chat with him as we sat next to the heater. That was a favorite place to reflect on the day for Popsie and to chat with customers and friends.
Unfortunately we won't be able to attend the viewing today as we a babysitting the grandchildren, however know that we are there in spirit thinking and praying for all of you. He was a great man and he will be missed by all.
Prayers for everyone.
Mike and Brenda Jones

My daughters and nieces rode on his bus to school. Hard to believe that was 30 years ago.
He was a very loved man and will be missed by many.
I would often stop in at the produce store and say hello. It was always good to see him.
Deepest sympathy, love and prayers to his family.
In our thoughts and prayers, Scott and Mary Boguski

We were lucky to live across from the the Cavages for a period of time and only moved about a mile away after that. Happy memories working on Popsies farm milking cows and bailing hay (Popsie’s mom always had great cookies).Joining the family for dinner afterwards. Riding the bus to school was always a good time. Always happy to help my Mom out when she needed it.
We will all miss you. I’m sure my Mom and sisters feel the same.
