Obituary of MaryAnn Hall Forrest
MaryAnn “Hall” Forrest, born August 10, 1934 in Southern Maryland, passed away peacefully on Friday December 11, 2020 at Wayne Woodlands. She was preceded in death by her Beloved Husband, David E. Forrest and her granddaughter, Ashley Marie Fair.
She loved her family, mostly her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves behind, Granddaughter Alexandra Haviland, along with her great grandchildren Madison Grace, Eli Nicholas and Eleanor Marie; Grandson Daniel W. Fair and wife Rachel, along with great grandchildren Bryson Lee and Leighton Ashley; and step-grandson, Brian Haviland and wife Michelle, and great grandchild, Gabrielle Marie.
She loved animals. She lived a relatively quiet life before and after the love of her life, David passed away. She could be seen driving around town in her little green Honda civic from time to time but she mostly enjoyed solitude. She loved to read, and she prayed daily.
She leaves behind daughters, Rochelle Haviland and husband Alan, Julie Hutson-Moranor, and Russell Moranor, Jr. and wife Angie. She also leaves behind her beloved sister Helen Gatton and husband Arnold, Benedict Maryland, along with niece, Donna Brown, nephew Bryon Brown and great nieces, Holly Kay and Tiffany and sisters, Betty Smith and Marguerite Suite, along with niece Barbara Webster, nephew Rob Suite and his wife Terri and great niece Jenna and numerous other extended family members.
She will be missed by all those whom she loved and by all those that loved her. In lieu of flowers, you can donate to a local animal shelter or commit acts of kindness in her memory.
Her wishes were to be cremated and there will be no public service. Thank you to the staff of Wayne Woodlands for providing service and comfort in her final days.
