Elizabeth "Betty" A. Howard, 62, of Greenfield Township, formerly of Waymart, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, after an illness. Born October 1, 1958 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Sullivan) Milavec. Betty was a dedicated Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader for over five years, and a member of the Waymart Volunteer Fire Dept. She was a wonderful woman and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her two beloved sons, Jonathan and Joseph; a step-daughter, Carrie Howard; grandchildren, both biological and "adopted", and many special friends.
