I remember when he took that great leap of faith. He stood there and told me about how he was going into full time painting and taxidermy. I had no idea what taxidermy was and he was so patient answering my questions and so proud to tell me all about it. Down the long set of stairs off the kitchen to his shop in the basement at the bottom of the stairs. Then he showed me all his work as he completed his projects. He took great pride in each piece. I remember it like it was yesterday on West Side Avenue. He gave me my first motorcycle ride down West Side Ave, too, on August 20th circa 1979. So so many great memories. I’ll never forget. RIP Mr. Kickerbocker. KML were truly blessed.

So glad they had this time together. Uncle Don with his 2 nephews that he loved like his own sons. George you will be missed by many. Give my dad a hug. My deepest condolences to the whole Knickerbocker family. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
