Jeanne Roskoski of Beach Lake passed away suddenly on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Kathleen McAlpine McAlpine. She graduated with her nursing degree from LICH/St. Francis College. She resided in Brooklyn NY before moving to Beach Lake PA in 1995. She was employed by Bayada Health care company. Jeanne also was a volunteer fire fighter at Beach Lake Fire Company as well as a volunteer EMT for Beach Lake and White Mills ambulance companies. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church for many years as well as a member of the Daughters of the Kings. Surviving are her three children: Margaret Shupe of Beach Lake, Christopher Shupe of Beach Lake, and Kathleen Shupe of Honesdale; Her husband, David Roskoski; and granddaughter, Willow Jean Meadow Shupe. Jeanne touched a lot of people's lives. She always put others before herself. She will be incredibly missed by family and friends.
