Abby, as I knew him, was a favorite student of my Dad’s, Vernon Leslie’s, Latin Class. He was always just the friendliest, kindest, and honored person anyone could wish to know. I am devastated by the loss of Abby and send his wife Sally, and the entire family. our prayers, condolences and wishes for peace. This is a tragic loss for Honesdale, and Ab will be sorely missed. God bless him for his dedication to our town and for his great family and personality. This is the passing of an entire group of generations of which Honesdale should be proud and honored to have known and have had as it citizens. May God bless the Rutherfords, particularly you, Sally.
