Obituary of Arnold Edward Dutton

Arnold Edward Dutton, Jr., 68, of Tyler Hill, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2022. Born June 16,1953, he was the son of the late Arnold Dutton, Sr., and Virginia (Noble) Dutton. Eddie lived his life in Tyler Hill alongside his high school sweetheart and beloved wife of 48 years, Diana L. (Warren), where they raised their three children and created a beautiful life together. Eddie graduated from Damascus High School, and went on to serve in the National Guard. He drove an eighteen-wheeler for many years, eventually moving on to become the owner of the Tyler Hill Store. He also owned school buses for Wayne Highlands School District. He eventually settled into being the beloved caretaker for Tyler Hill Camp for 30 years. Eddie could often be found hunting and fishing, loved playing cards, and was involved in many leagues and tournaments. Eddie loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, and spent his Sunday afternoons religiously cheering them on. He spent cherished time with not only his children and grandchildren, but also all of his dogs and cats, which were just as much a part of his family. Eddie and Diana loved to vacation together, and have taken many cruises over the years. In his later years, Eddie could be found relaxing poolside after long days of work, as the home that he and Diana built together was his haven. In addition to his wife, Eddie is survived by his children: Tracy, and husband Micah, Kristy Tirney, and Andrew Dutton, eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. He is also survived by his mother, Virginia, and three sisters, Arline, Audrey, and Debbie. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Tyler Hill Camp. Please join Eddie’s family for food and refreshments. Arrangements and cremation are entrusted to Jenkins-Howell Funeral Home, Inc. Edward R. Howell, Funeral Director, 269 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA 18472. www.JenkinsHowellFuneralHome.com
