Arthur H. (Art) Jones 85 of East Palatka, Florida passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Art was born in Pennsylvania to the late Paul and Frances Jones. He loved fishing, gardening, spending time with family and friends. He made the best sauerkraut ever! Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Martha M. (Enslin) Jones and son. Dwayne Jones, and three sisters, Loretta, Jean, and Myrtle. He is survived by his daughter, Dawn M. Markel and husband, Craig of East Palatka, Fl.; sons, Kevin Jones and wife, Sheila of Hastings, Fl., Marshall Jones of East Palatka, Fl.; brothers, Ernest Jones, Paul Jones Jr., Clifford Jones, and Charles Jones; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at The Waymart Church, 596 Honesdale Road, Waymart, PA 18472 with Pastor Sal Maiorana officiating. There will be a viewing from 10-11 AM on Tuesday morning in the church. Interment will be Tuesday in East Canaan Cemetery, South Canaan. A time of fellowship will be held at The Waymart Church after the graveside service.
