Michael "Dweebs" Dunphy, 36, of Pleasant Mount died unexpectedly, after an illness on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at home. His beloved wife, Amber L. (Webbe) Dunphy survives him. Born August 19, 1985 in Hazelton, he was the son of the late Nicola (Kalchick) Ferrara. Michael was a hardworking business owner. He owned and operated Crazy 8 Pressure Washing, LLC and took great pride in the family business. He loved his dogs and enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling, and being outdoors. Most of all, he loved his family. Michael will be missed, but never forgotten by everyone he knew and loved. In addition to his wife Amber, he is also survived by seven children: Jason Dunphy, Seth Dunphy, Trevor Dunphy, Reece Fuchs, Mason Fuchs, Jayden Fuchs, and Jackson Fuchs; brothers and sisters, Brenda Gebhart, Jordan Kalchick-Hess and her husband Trevor, Devon Waldrop, Michalea Greene and her husband Devin, Samantha Dunphy, and Luke Miller; his mother-in-law, Kristel Webbe; and several nieces and nephews. Michael was also preceded in death by a son, Nicholas Dunphy in 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 from 6-8 PM at Kennedy's Grove, 39 Kennedy Drive, Waymart, PA 18472.
