Don Alix departed this world on August 13,2022 after a fulfilling and rewarding life. He graduated from the University of Colorado in 1965 with a degree in Pharmacology. His professional career was spent as a pharmacist and store manager with the Walgreens Corporation. Don was an entrepreneur, loved boating, photography, golfing , and travelling the world. Don was a man of faith. He loved God and His church, and was very active in promoting and giving council to St James Orthodox Church. Don is survived by his beloved wife, Lorraine, of 51 years, and his step-sister, Pam Gibson, sister-in-law, Gloria Fedec and nieces and nephews, Paula, Larissa, Daria, Peter, Lynn, Susan and Tony. May his memory be eternal. A Visitation Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Saint James Orthodox Church, 2201 SE Airoso Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34984: Viewing: 10:30 am -11:00 am; Funeral: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm. Light luncheon in the church hall following the service. Don will be interred at St. Tikhon’s Monastery in South Canaan, PA at a later date.
