I'm just learning of Chip's passing today, February 3, 2023, and I'm so very sad. Chip was an inspiration to me, and to everyone who knew him. To Gloria, Cris, and all of Chip's loved one's, I grieve with you. Please accept my sincerest condolences on this great loss. I bought this silver print (in the picture) from Chip many, many years ago, and I treasure it – as I treasure the memories of our friendship. Sometimes it's not only the grand gestures in life that make a difference in the world. Sometimes it's just a small kindness that makes someone never forget you. Numerous years ago, my husband and I were attending a local event where we didn't know anyone else in attendance. Chip came in the room where we sat, and he sat down next to us, and talked with us like we were the best of friends for a life time. He was kind and interesting to talk with. We saw him numerous times at different art events through the years, and we always made a point to speak with our friend. We are so very sorry for your loss, and we know the community has lost a great member. We will not forget our friend Chip. Kate and Rick Sporer

When Chip Forelli played music, his eyes were always full of love for Gloria and family who were in the audience. Everyone who heard Chip play music was gifted perfect sound. Lucky us. Chip will always be missed. He enriched our community. And he was a great photographer. I never liked roller coasters, but he got me to love the images he captured with his camera. rosie starr
