Thomas P. Austin, 69, of Waymart passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Wayne Memorial Hospital after an illness. He is survived by his beloved wife, Pauline C. (Munro) Austin. Born November 2, 1953 in Star Lake, New York, he was the son of the late Alvin "Tarz" Austin and Lila (Kerr) Austin. Thomas was veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a Security Officer for many years prior to his retirement. He is also survived by two daughters: Tanya Regna, and Katrina Cook; three sisters: Thelma Austin Frey, Cheryl Duncan Austin Countryman, and Toni Austin Rider; four grandchildren: CJ, Anthony, Abby, and Caleb; Pauline's children: William Hawkings and Anthony Hawkings; and grandchildren: Matthew, Connor, and Skye.
