To my Dearest Godmother Doris. You have given me so many happy memories always making me laugh! Watching you sew with simplicity patterns, your amazing knitting skills, always sending the most beautiful handmade baby blankets and sweaters. The very best babysitter! All the trips down the shore, Lake Welch, going to the Catskills, the movies and never forget Palisades Amusement Park with Julie, myself and the rest of our crew. The fun and love only got better when your precious baby boy Nicky was born. Truly the best of times. I will never forget your excitement when your tree was chosen just a few months ago to be part of New York City’s Christmas celebration. One of our last conversations. How very special. Thank you for all of your love always. I love you always and forever.
