Nancy A. Lodes, 78, of Waymart went home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at Wayne Woodlands Manor. She was preceded in death by her loving companion, the late Francis M. Bogan. Nancy was born on May 9, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York. Nancy loved God and found joy in the simple things in life such as art, music, laughter, sunsets, starry nights and all the beauty that country living had to offer her. She enjoyed a good laugh, her pets, and her family. Nancy was vibrant, fierce and as bold as she was beautiful. She is survived by her children Nancy Salvatorelli, Susan Guariglia, Keith Bogan, Virginia Perea, Francis Bogan Jr., Thomas Bogan, Veronica Bogan, Ann Marie Bogan, and Robin Tregaskis; 25 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Nancy loved each of her children uniquely, deeply and profoundly. She lived a full life surrounded in love and found fulfillment in watching her children grow, she was proud of their accomplishments and adored each and every one of her grandchildren. Nancy was also preceded in death by three children: Donna Lodes, William Lodes, and John Bogan. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at 12:00 - 2:00 PM at The Waymart Church, 596 Honesdale Road, Waymart, PA 18472. The family will host a funeral reception for friends and family to share in light, laughter and love immediately following the services.
