To Egon's family, I'm sorry to hear of Egon's passing. I was writing a letter to him and thought to doublecheck his address to be sure I had the correct one when I came across the obituary. Egon and I shared many great memories from back in the 1970s and 1980s when I lived in the Scranton area and even when I moved to New Mexico. I recall three of us driving--well, Egon drove--all the way to Atlanta, Georgia, in his VW bug. And I recall visiting him at the Arby's he worked at. From the first time I met him, we became friends. My dear son Egon, you will always hold a special place in my heart . The times we spent together like our Monday outings and all the times we worked on building cars and rebuilding cars and even working side by side at the restaurant are memories that can never be taken away from us. I was blessed to have my three children together along with other family members on a special vacation this past summer.You are my first born son and I will love you always and miss you forever.
