I was one of the first caregivers to come. I remember the day well. Leroy, and Roger were there. When I came she told them to get her out. I do not need help. So I went around the corner of the kitchen while her boys convinced her that I could help. And my journey began. 3 days a week I came. I helped her get breakfast and she sit by her kitchen glass doors watching her family work the farm. On nice days she loved sitting on the in closed porch watching all of the nature pass bye. Then came the time to have full time help. And full time help was hard to come by. But the dedication and love of her daughter Karen made Jeanette"s last days to be able to stay in her home. When there were doubts it was possible. I always enjoy my time working with the Rutledge family. May Jeanette rest in peace .

I have many fond memories of Jeanette. She was always quick with a smile or laugh. She will hold a special place in so many hearts and will be missed by all.
