Charlie was always a joy to have on the train! Charlie was not only a conductor, but volunteered many hours maintaining the railroad equipment. Charlie, Clinton Leet, Dick Monahan and Dick Spry could often be found tackling various projects together! We still have a picture of Charlie in Conductors uniform in my office. He was a fatherly guiding figure with a great sense of humor and infectious laugh. Charlie was always willing to lend a hand, no matter if it was a railroad car or automobile. He will be remembered fondly by all. Rest in Peace Charlie!
