Obituary of Leonard Michael Boguski

Leonard Michael Boguski, 77, of Waymart passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Wayne Woodlands Manor.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Sandra Dukerich Boguski.

Born October 12, 1940 in Richmondale, he was the son of the late Carl and Antoinette Sliva Boguski.

Following graduation from Fell High School, Len served in the United States Marine Corps from 1958-1962. He was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church of Waymart. Len was also a member of the Waymart Masonic Lodge#542, the Waymart American Legion, and the Waymart Volunteer Fire Co. Prior to retirement, Len worked for Clifford of Vermont and  SCI Waymart.

Len's family is blessed by his unconditional love for his wife Sandra, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He enjoyed great times together with his family at Lake Alden.

He is also survived by his children:  Sabrina (daughter) and William Lengner of Middletown PA,  Michael (son) and Beth Boguski of Lancaster PA, Colleen (daughter) and John Dickinson  of Lakewood Ranch FL, and Tara (daughter) and Tim Hall of Easton PA; grandchildren:  Chad Lengner, Amanda Behney, Kristy Lengner, Ashley Lengner, Michael Matthew Boguski, Andrew Casey Boguski Zachary Dickinson, Ceaera McDermott, John Hall, Maddie Hall, Bethany Hall, Hallie Hall;  great-grandchildren: Jackson Lengner, Kylie Lengner, Chloe Behney, Sadie Behney, Ellie Behney, Lincoln Behney, and Rose McDermott; brothers and sisters:  Bernadette Blackwell, John Boguski, Maggie Merrigan, Michael Boguski, and Robert Boguski.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Calvary United Methodist Church, 151 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA, with Pastor Wendy D'Agostino officiating.

Friends and family may visit on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Jenkins-Howell Funeral Home Inc., 269 Belmont Street, Waymart, PA 18472.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Len's memory payable to "UMW" which is the United Methodist Women of the Calvary United Methodist Church, Waymart in support of the Open Door Cafe:  PO Box J, Waymart, PA 18472.

Spring interment will be in The Waymart Cemetery at Canaan Corners.
