Charlie and I are shaken over Mike's untimely death. He was best friends with Chris and our older son, Chuck. We have so many memories of Mike - always busy, always involved and always a great kid. Our hearts go out to his family. May they find strength and peace as they recall fond memories of him.

Mike was a part of many childhood memories from our days of playing kickball at Rice Elementary. Mike was always polite, a good sport and a team player. My husband John and I wish to offer our condolences to Mike's entire family. He was every bit as awesome as a kid, as you describe him to be, now. May he rest in peace.

As much as Mike loved the outdoors and spending time with his family outdoors, without a doubt, his voice can still be heard in the blowing trees, the crunching leaves underfoot, and in the laughing voices of his children.
