So many memories of my mother, but I remember her stories of her travels the most.
She was forever on the go. In college she spent a semester in Mexico. Throughout her life she traveled the United States, sending frequent postcards to her mother and grandparents. She took me to England, twice before I graduated college. She saw Hong Kong, Egypt, Russia, the Philippines and more, reveling in the local cultures and interacting with people. As she grew older she concentrated on visiting family and friends keeping many family connects across both sides of our family tree active. I will always think of her when I travel and send her mental postcards, keeping her with me in activities she loved. Thank you mom for giving me your wanderlust.
I love you.
