Scottie was a dear friend of my father. I spent many an hour in his service station, listening with awe to his stories. Never forget when he took me for a ride in his Yellow plane. He will be missed.

My love and condolences to the whole family, especially Mrs. Ogden. So many memories and all of how kind he was to me. My memory to share... As a young teen I biked miles. I came down the high school hill and wiped out. Who cared for me, all bloody with a ripped open knee, Mr and Mrs Ogden. Always there when you needed them with those beautiful smiles and reassurance that all would be fine. God bless you!

Scottie was a very huge part of the community, from his garage ,singing, boyscouts and watching him take off and land his plane. He was always welling to take someone along for a plane ride. Scottie was just an all around great guy willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Thanks for the great memories RIP.

Dear Jean, Julie and Family,
I was very saddened to read of Great Uncle Scottie's passing. He was simply one of the kindest, most patient and caring men I have ever met. I enjoyed hearing him sing on more than one occasion, including at my father's funeral and at Camp Ladore. I am very lucky to have had him in my family. I will always think of him as someone to emulate, a strong role model and mentor. My condolences to all of you today and in the days ahead.
Sincerely,
Bobbye Kopec
